HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – On Saturday around 11:40 a.m., a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of the H-1 Freeway involved a school bus and was responded to by Honolulu police. Emergency medical services reported that three men, aged 17, 19, and 68, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and transported to the hospital.

A 28-year-old woman was assessed at the scene but chose to decline additional medical treatment. EMS personnel also assisted approximately two dozen passengers from the school bus, directing them to a separate location where their guardians opted not to pursue further care. Notably, none of the individuals aboard the school bus sustained injuries. The incident had temporarily obstructed two right eastbound lanes and the shoulder near the Kaahumanu Overpass, but all lanes have since been cleared. The causes of the crash remain undisclosed.
