Hawaiian Airlines hosts largest-ever disability practice flight in Honolulu

In Honolulu, Hawaiian Airlines organized its most extensive disability practice flight on Sunday, allowing a significant number of travelers and their families to gain comfort with the air travel experience. Aboard an Airbus A330 at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, 258 participants engaged in the full airport process, which included check-in, security procedures, and boarding.

The initiative was coordinated in partnership with Never Quit Dreaming, the Hawaiʻi Autism Foundation, and the Autism Society of Hawaii. The event also marked the return of Hawaiian Airlines to this program in Honolulu, utilizing a widebody aircraft for the first time, which enabled a larger group to participate. According to Shelly Parker of Hawaiian Airlines, the goal was to ensure that every guest feels invited and ready as they travel.
