Wagyu Smash Burgers at Buns Gone Wong Priced from $7

After hearing much about the wagyu smash burgers at Buns Gone Wong, I finally decided to visit.

At Buns Gone Wong, Wagyu Burgers Start at $7

After hearing much about the wagyu smash burgers at Buns Gone Wong, I finally decided to visit. The posts on Instagram looked amazing, and the pricing was appealing, especially with a quarter-pound wagyu cheeseburger costing only $7—a competitive price compared to a classic Quarter Pounder with cheese at $6.79.

I found Brian Wong’s pop-up at Paradise Ciders on Koapaka Street, where he has been serving his burgers since July. Wong, who previously worked at Hula Grill in Waikīkī, offers an OG burger for $7 or a deluxe version for $10 that includes fresh veggies. I also tried the tater tots for $4, which were paired with a special sauce. This experience truly showcased the delightful flavors in a casual outdoor setting.
